A Banquet

I took a walk today to spend some quality time with my Lord. After a while, I decided to listen to my "Pray as You Go" apps daily devotional. Song plays "All Things New" and I see some more wild black berries just off the path. I've eaten them before, but these seemed even more special this time. 

So, I stop pick some tp eat, thinking of God took time to create and grow something so beautiful and sweet and nourishing, while thanking Him for them. Then, the Scripture reading begins. It is Luke 5:33-39. The story about feasting while the bridegroom is present. 

"How appropriate," I thought to myself. "My bridegroom has given me a small, sweet feast to enjoy during our time together. "

I love spending time with Him. He always does something special evertime. 

When I do miss out spending time with Him, my days are hard and my soul is stressed. When I do spend regular time with Him, my days are better and my soul is at peace.  

I want to encourage you, too, not to miss spending time with Him.
