All the Evidence Proves Genesis is True

Oh, how I love God! And how I love it when History and Science prove that the Genesis account of the earth really did happen! ;)

I've been doing a little research into the flood account on Genesis, and just thought I'd share a little of what I've been finding. Some of it, I've know for a few years, and a lot of it is very new to me.

I'm sure we all know how much scientists keep denying ANY possiblity of a worldwide flood. Everyone keeps sticking to the worldwide ice age. -YET there is no evidence to prove a worldwide ice age. I'm not saying there wasn't a major portion that became iced over, but not the whole world. Interestingly enough, all the research, for what was covered in ice, shows evidence that it all developed from massive amounts of seismic activity that produced both heat and cool at the same time.

1) Scientists who deny the flood also argue that the 'the sources of the watery depths burst open' (Gen 7:11b) could NOT POSSIBLY mean actual water came from the below the earths' surface. They also deny any possiblity of worldwide earthquakes or volcanoes. ...and the Grand Canyon took millions of years to form.

And yet, the scientific evidence we have (and have had for a long time with more coming in) proves otherwise.

First, the Grand Canyon was cut through quickly. The many layers it has is proof of that. If it had been million of years, or even just hundreds, it would have been 'eroded' and not cut through, and the layers would not exist. Second, there are numerous marine fossils found in the Grand Canyon, and in many parts of the world, including several locations in the Middle East. (I visited Petra once, where I was told a baby dolphin had been discovered fossilized in the rock and excavated.) -Here is a 2022 article about a sea mammal fossil found in the dessert. https://www.jordantimes.com/news/features/36-million-year-old-whale-fossil-found-peruvian-desert)

So, we KNOW that there are marine fossils being found in the most unlikely of places including dessert areas. How did they get in the middle of a dessert if that dessert had not been underwater at one point? And we KNOW that the Grand Canyon was cut quickly -according to geologists.

2) Can rain really flood the whole world? Well, let's just look on the internet about all the severe flooding during monsoon rains around the world. All you have to do is type 'floods' in a search engine and you'll see how quickly just a few days' rain can cause massive flooding.

But I also believe there was, as the Bible descibes, openings in the Earth that brought forth waters and possibly earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.

Discovered today, to my delight, was an article published by the Smithsonian. It is about a rare mineral called 'ringwoodite,' and they say that it is PROOF there is water under the earth's surface.

Quote from article:

"Some scientists think Earth's oceans formed when icy comets hit the planet. But new research suggests a different origin for the oceans: they simply seeped out of the center of the Earth.

The finding, published in Science, suggests that a reservoir of water is hidden in the Earth's mantle, more than 400 miles below the surface. Try to refrain from imagining expanses of underground seas: all this water, three times the volume of water on the surface, is trapped inside rocks."

I've also found several articles showing that geologists have found NUMEROUS cracks on the earths' surface under the oceans. This includes the 'Ring of Fire' which is still active. Here are a couple of articles.

There are so many published articles [from credible sources] that prove the great probablity that the Biblical account of a worldwide flood did happen. And the bursts of the waters depth is strongly believed by many [Christian] geologists (and a few non-Christian) to describe a combination of both volcanic eruptions as well as actual water bursting from under the earth. This, and the continuous rainfall, would not only flood the entire earth rapidly, but it would also instantly kill and fossilize many humans and land and sea animals. What wasn't actually fossilized or destroyed would be buried and preserved.

3) Just an extra thought concerning who we call 'the cavemen.' I haven't looked very much into this, but it may be worth a discussion. Could it be possible these were people pre-flood? They existed so early they are consider to be pre-modern human and very premitive. But I laughed when I came across an article some weeks ago showing that they were not what scientists have believed but were in fact highly intelligent and functioned in society and inventions like we know today. They built cities, burials, and their tools and living facilities were very modern.

I also find it interesting that every ancient culture has a legend about a worldwide flood and a single family that survived it. -Look it up. (Here's a couple of starting places: https://answersingenesis.org/the-flood/flood-legends/ ; https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/ancient-chinese-megaflood-may-be-fact-not-fiction/)

I'm not going to claim that I have an excellent understanding of all the scientific findings, nor have researched this extensively, and I don't intend to. I am no expert in any of this. But I do research, and I just love finding this stuff and love how much it proves the Bible is true! And God has carefully kept so much evidence preserved for us; waiting to be discovered! I am sharing what I've found so far in order that both Christian's and non-Christian's may have some extra documentation to look at in regard to this topic.

Again, I LOVE how the more we learn about the earth and its history, the more evidence arises that prove the Bible is a true historical and scientific document about our beginning and early development. -Even if you cannot bring yourself to believe in God or a Creator, you cannot deny the evidence that the Bible is, at the least, an exellent history book! (Unless you're being stubborn.)

...and I haven't even touched on all the articles concerning research on the human eye, peacock feather, and blood cells!
